Our Objective

The main objective of the organization is to facilitate people’s development with self-help and participatory approach.

  •  To promote the economic and social rights of vulnerable communities
  • To help reduce the gap between human rights in principle or law and human rights as enjoyed by the most vulnerable and excluded sectors of society, especially those living in poverty.
  • To conduct research, collate, analyze and disseminate information on equitable development and make informed decisions.
  • To work collaboratively with local communities to assist them in building peace, restoring social stability, revitalizing community structures, and empowering them to retake control of their lives.

Our Projects

a:- Organization is implementing a model project on child labour elimination in 10 slums of Kanpur under “National Child Labour Program (NCLP)” with government of India through state government of Uttar Pradesh state.
b:- Organization has implemented a pilot project for Diarrhea control through safe drinking water for the rural population of Unnao district with the support from One Square Japan,
c:- Organization has implemented a pilot project for providing safe drinking water o the resident of 100 slums of Kanpur Nagar with Academy of Education Development (AED) funded by USAID in collaboration with PRATINIDHI.
d:- Organization has worked with Institutional & Community Development Project (ICDP) under Ganga action plan in 60 slums of Kanpur Nagar. Organization has worked with DUDA in 30 slums for sanitation & drinking water programme.
e:- Organization has implemented HIV/AIDS program with the support from UNAIDS in 30 villages of Ghatmpur Tehsil of Kanpur district.
f:- Counseling and mentoring programme (Training) for slum residents’ boys and girls for family life education (prevention of HIV infection), opportunities for the development for the 2500 boys and girls with “District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) government of Uttar Pradesh.
g:- Organization provided Skill/Vocational training to the 836 boys and girls in the trades of Tailoring, embroidery, Candle making, Essence stick making, chalk making, scent & perfume making, craft, bindi making and articles making from waste material under Indo-Danish Project (Save the children program-Denmark).
h:- Organization has provided skill training to the 400 girls and women in the trades of tailoring and fashion designing under the Indo-Danish Project in association with Gramodaya Sansthan.
i:- Socio-economic survey of 10 slums of Kanpur in association with ICDP, Indo-Dutch project in the slums areas of Kanpur under Ganga Action Plan. j:- Health, HIV awareness and counseling work in the Ghatampur area of Kanpur Nagar district with “District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) government of Uttar Pradesh.
k:- Community and area development works in the slums of Kanpur with “Institutional & Community Development Project (ICDP an Indo-Dutch Project) under Ganga Action Plan.
l:- Organization has formed 30 self-help groups of women in the slums of Kanpur to enhance the family economy of child labour families.
m:- Organization implemented environment awareness program in 10 slums of Kanpur with ministry of environment & forest government of India.
